Church Rota

It would be very much appreciated if everyone on the Church Rota would check when they are listed to do one of the Ministries. If you find that you are not available on a particular Sunday please arrange a swap with someone else. If there is need to change then please make sure you alter the Master Copy in the foyer. If you know that someone is away and is still listed then please let Fr Daniel or the Churchwarden know so that alternative arrangements can be made.

We are looking for more helpers to go on the Sunday morning coffee rota.  Anyone interested should contact Roy Balm.

Can you help?

Volunteers are needed to help with Lock Up at night. We are looking to have two people instead of the current one. If you can spare the time to help with this important Ministry then please offer your name to the Churchwarden.

 Churches Together Report January 2007

From Pam Farrell (our representative):

The meeting opened with prayer. The Christmas Celebrations (Carnival, Parade and Carol singing were said to have been a success and enjoyable. Rev Janet Tanner was appointed Chairperson and this was warmly welcomed. Lent courses were discussed and will go ahead (see other notice). 2 March is designated Women’s World Day of Prayer and will be held at Holy Cross Church – Rev Vanessa Hollingworth will speak. There will be a Good Friday walk and a Sunrise service. 25 March is designated Freedom Day (Liberation of Slavery). The film Amazing Grace is out around then – highly recommended. A ‘Green Café’ and healthy living café is opening at Under One Roof at the end of February and the Credit Union will be launched in Feb/Mar. A report from Rev Vanessa on the Engage Group was presented.
